Laboratory Technician - Concrete

As our activities on construction site are constantly growing, we are currently looking for experienced Concrete Technicians to carry out all the required concrete testing under DTI’s supervision.

As a Concrete Technician, you will be responsible for testing fresh and hardened concrete on the construction site in Rødby in accordance with the standards and the Inspections and Test Plans. We expect that you have previous experience with concrete testing, but you will also get detailed instruction and guidance from DTI on procedures.

Key Activities:

• Apply the testing regime defined in the Inspection and Testing Plans.
• Fill out the testing output forms during the testing on fresh concrete and on hardened concrete.
• Handle, clean, and storage calibrated equipment used during testing.
• Follow the rules and guidelines established by HS&WE Manager, Environmental Manager and Production Team.
• Apply strictly the instructions provided by DTI’s Laboratory Manager and/or the Laboratory Supervisor.
• Report to DTI’s Laboratory Manager on deviations.

Personal and Professional Qualifications:

• Structured, responsible and detail-oriented.
• Experience in use of calibrated equipment.
• Seasoned user of Excel and laboratory software.
• Fluency in English, written and spoken.
• Previous experience with Technician Laboratory on Concrete and especially testing of fresh concrete will be an advantage.
• Knowledge to Euro Norms and Standards dealing with Concrete testing will be an advantage.
• Danish knowledge will be an advantage.

Conditions of employment:

You will be covered by the collective bargaining agreement between the Dansk Construction Association and HK. We offer an attractive pension scheme, as well as optional health insurance and lunch agreement.

Starting date: As soon as possible. We will start on a 24/7 scheme, so shift works will be required.
