Are you looking for your next career step within Wind and Renewable energy, and are you skilled within quality engineering? We are currently looking for someone to join our quality department in Lindø, Odense Havn.

Manufacturing and Global Procurement > COO NCE > Production QC, Lindø
The main scope of the Quality Department is both Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Control (QC). In the team we are supporting in the creation of procedures, policies, instructions, standards, and records of non-conformities. Within the scope of the Quality Department we also handle the compliance of the Quality Management System (QMS) to the Vestas Standards and resolution of Customer concerns. Important part of Quality Department support is ongoing support of ISO 1 activities and requirements as well as Customer audits, visits and inspections. To best support for running production local team strongly cooperate with Regional and Global Quality teams. Part of the team’s responsibilities is also optimizing production via continuous improvements projects to secure high quality of our products.

Responsibilities

Reporting quality performance used for initiating improvement activities

Involvement in internal/external audit processes

Handling Non-Conforming materials and products through corrective and preventative measures

Monitoring performance in designated production area and working with the Production Support Team to solve and implement improvement plans

Approve trials and prepare the appropriate technical report

Qualifications

3+ years of experience in the field of quality engineering in a production plant

You understand safety and quality processes and reporting

Comprehensive communication skills, with fluent English (written and oral)

Knowledge of ISO 1

Skilled user of Microsoft Office, especially Excel

Competencies

Understands safety and quality processes and reporting

You are able to maintain focus and professional in a time-sensitive situation

Team player and understands how to work in line and matrix-organizations

Work location: Lindø, DK
This position requires approximately days of travel per year.
