SSI Diagnostica Group is a clinical diagnostic company with a mission to help prevent, monitor, and diagnose clinical diseases through our quality portfolios of Reagents and IVD Diagnostic products and solutions. We are a carve-out of the Danish Serum Institute owned by a Private Equity Fond. We are founded on the success of strong organic growth and acquisition of 3 clinical diagnostic companies. We recently signed off a new 5-year strategy for the group embarking on a journey to become one global IVD Diagnostic powerhouse.

In the exciting role as Nordic Account Manager, you will work with SSI Diagnosticas full product portfolio and sales towards the clinical and industrial segments in the Nordics.

You will contribute to SSI Diagnosticas ambition to become the leading supplier in the Nordic region of diagnostic products and automated customer solutions. Today, SSI Diagnostica is the market leader in its segment in Denmark, and the goal is to become a leader in all Nordic countries.

To succeed with this, SSI Diagnostica is now hiring a Nordic Account Manager to the Danish market.  

The team & position

We are a small, dedicated team that work closely together, share experience, and support each other in our daily work and effort to obtain success across the territory.

You will work with a lot of talented and engaged colleagues and will be a key player in developing and grow the Danish market. You will be working closely together with other Nordic sales reps, customer service and relevant colleagues from our production and trade product partners.

Your areas of responsibilities

As Nordic Account Manager your primary goal is to optimize sales and profitability for SSI Diagnosticas Nordic product portfolio. You are expected to understand and analyze the Danish market for clinical and industrial microbiology. And work in close collaboration with your colleagues in Nordic Sales. 

You will be responsible for sales of SSI Diagnostica's entire product portfolio, including ImmuView, and products such as QFT and Biogram. Sales will be to both the clinical and the industrial segments:

  • For the industrial segment, you will get the opportunity to strengthen this market.
  • For the clinical segment, you will build on the strong sales of SSI Diagnosticas products.
  • You will be responsible for implementing the strategies and activities in your area, in collaboration with relevant colleagues.
  • You will be organizing congresses and meetings in your area, as well as planning customer meetings and sales promotion activities.
  • Develop a Go-to-Market strategy for the various product areas. This will be done in collaboration with relevant colleagues.

You can expect 5-10 travel days pr. Month.

 

Personal Qualifications

  • Creative - thinking out of the box, especially in relation to how we operate towards the Danish and Nordic market.
  • Is a team player who manages to achieve the business's goals with great interpersonal skills – both horizontal and lateral in the organization.
  • Independent and self-driven.
  • Customer-oriented and work actively with customers to identify their needs and develop appropriate solution proposals that will generate sales.
  • Fast-learner with a can-do mindset – we expect you to have a drive and natural wish to see things progress.
  • Enjoy a fast-paced environment with potential to work during fluctuating periods of time.
  • Working with an analytical and structured mindset.

 

Professional Experience

  • At least 5 years' experience as an Account Manager or similar, with sales and marketing or application of products for the clinical and industrial segment in the Nordics
  • Relevant professional laboratory and diagnostic background combined with sales experience and training/courses.
  • Microbiological experience and/or education is an advantage.
  • Documented experience with pricing, market analyzes, sales statistics, etc.
  • Fluent both oral and written in English (business language is English
  • Local sites work in Danish some level of Danish understanding will be needed – and some level of Swedish will be an advantage.
  • Strong IT skills (Excel, PowerPoint, and relevant CRM systems)
