The Role

We are looking for a Norwegian Copywriter (tekstforfatter) to join HelloFresh Group’s Nordic Brand team and write compelling copy for Norway’s leading meal kit, HelloFresh.

As our Norwegian Copywriter you will play an essential role in bringing the HelloFresh brand to life by ensuring high quality copy across all consumer touch points. You will take on a wide range of tasks, from creating crisp headlines for OOH to localizing copy for digital advertising. Your local expertise will be key to making messages resonate with consumers. Additionally, you will participate in the conception, development and ideation of local campaigns and social media.

You will be part of our Marketing Communications Team consisting of three copywriters reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, and can look forward to working closely with your Danish and Swedish counterparts. The team is located in Copenhagen.

Your responsibilities will include:

Creating all consumer and customer-facing copy for HelloFresh, working with international brand guidelines and adapt the market specific tone of voice

Crafting marketing messages that engage and resonate with our customers, conveying the brand’s messages, benefits and USPs and collaborate with the International Brand Team in Berlin on marketing projects and copy policies

Develop concepts and creative ideations, ie for product marketing campaigns, social media, and brand campaigns

Adapt and localize a wide variety of consumer-facing content, rendering copy from English to Norwegian across all marketing channels (CRM, paid social, YouTube, TV, display, etc.) and product touch points (labels, UX/UI, mobile, etc.)

Organizing and prioritizing copy briefs

Proofread Norwegian content for spelling, grammar and logic consistency

Support local and international teams in rollouts of communication projects

Maintaining the Local Writing Guide for Norwegian to ensure style consistency, including the Norwegian glossary

Work directly with remote design teams to ensure effective copy-design harmonization

Coordination of social media channels, such as development of monthly content plans, ideating on channel specific campaign executions, managing and creating content in collaboration with Global Design.

What you’ll bring

Excellent and proven Norwegian copywriting skills

Strong proficiency in English, written and spoken

Strong attention to detail and structure, securing high quality in all copy

Minimum three years experience in Norwegian copywriting and/or translation, preferably in the food or tech sectors,, working across multiple marketing channels (such as paid and organic social, CRM, TV, OOH, offline materials, etc.)

An understanding of Norwegian culture and consumer behavior, and a familiarity with using consumer insights data to build messages

The ability to deal with a large variety of stakeholders and understand complexity of processes

Strong prioritization skills with the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously whilst adhering to (at times short) deadlines

The ability to grasp a brand’s specific tone of voice, product and consumer base to create compelling copy

Creative and conceptual thinking, plus experience in creating captivating copy that brings brands to life

Experience in working with social media content planning, developing and implementation is a plus
