As part of this remarkable journey, we are looking for an Operational Purchaser.

About the job

As an Operational Purchaser, you will become an important part of our global procurement team, working closely with colleagues primarily from Spain, China, the USA, and Brazil. Your physical location will be within the Danish team, which currently consists of Operational Purchasers and Purchasing Assistants, all directly reporting to the Purchasing Manager. In addition to the operational team, the Danish department also have a team of Category Managers, reporting to the Global Sourcing & Procurement Director. Our team has recently undergone a division between operational and strategic procurement, and you will play a central role in this dynamic structure.

Your tasks will be diverse, including:

• Daily ordering of products for own categories from suppliers both domestically and internationally

• Daily follow-up on purchase orders

• Supporting internal departments with inquiries, orders, etc.

• Sending inquiries to suppliers in close collaboration with the Category Managers

• Handling invoices

• Playing a crucial role in transitioning more suppliers to API

• Developing processes for the tasks within the team globally.

• Administrative ad-hoc tasks

The procurement department is experiencing positive and exciting development with a strong focus on optimizing operational tasks. We take over the procurement process after the Category Managers have selected the suppliers and negotiated terms. Thus, we play a crucial role in ensuring that agreements are adhered to and goods are delivered timely to our customers.

Is this you?

To be successful in the role, we envision that you:

• Have a relevant education, preferably with several years of experience in an international manufacturing company

• Are proficient in Danish and English, both written and spoken

• Have previous experience with the ERP system D365 would be an advantage (but not required) and are familiar with Office, especially Excel

• Are service-minded and strong in communicating with both internal and external stakeholders

• Have a can-do attitude and curiosity about processes and, through your experience, can be a significant contributor to process optimization to streamline the team's daily operations

• Thrive in a versatile and dynamic environment where you are prepared to handle urgent tasks

• Are detail-oriented and approach tasks with focus and determination

• Are accustomed to being measured by KPIs and delivering within agreed deadlines

• Enjoy working independently but also as part of a global and growing team
