For our Construction Excellence department within Offshore Construction we are looking for a new member to our operational support team to help us transform how we execute offshore wind projects.
How to contribute to our vision
In Operational Supportwe provide technical support on construction related topics along the full value chain of execution projects: pre-assembly, installation & commissioning.
We are looking fortechnical experienced candidates that are ready to take the next step in their development.
In Operations support we look to improve and develop the hands-on experience from site work with more theoretical knowledge from development.Special effort is put on securing high uptime during execution, using integrated feedback loops, and linking user experience to continuous improvement programs.
As part of our support team, you will have the responsibility to support execution projects globally.
As the support team provides global support your ideas and supportwill reach execution projects internationally
Your role will include:
You enjoy finding ways to improve the quality and efficiency of work, and not settling for “good enough"
You are good at critically evaluating information, generating solutions, and using facts, logic, and experience to support decisions
You provide technical input based on experience from field use
You pro-actively drive optimization to increase overall uptime
You facilitate knowledge transfer within SGRE: Onsite shift-to-shift, between Off-Shore rotations and from project to project
You represent the support team on-site and offshore
You participate in our 24/7 support rotation
You will support collection and analysis of data of stops during construction to secure root cause transparency
You can read in hydraulic and electrical diagrams for troubleshooting purposes
You understand the PLC set up
What you need to make a difference
Passion for renewable energy and a sense for the importance to lead the change.
We are looking for candidates with a technical background and experience fromoffshore wind installation projects, preferably with Siemens Gamesa turbines.
It would be beneficial to have experience with:
Service / fault finding on mechanical and/or electrical equipment, high voltage or lifting
Hands-on offshore operations, preferably with wind turbines
Performing and leading mechanical and/or electrical equipment, high voltage or liftingtests
Furthermore, we expect you to:
Be able to travel to and work out of our primarily location in Vejle Denmark
Be available for training in Europe or other locations, including offshore
Pro-active and capable of working on a very demanding and constant changing environment
Show ownership for the projects you are working on
Be part of the 24/7 support service (divided on a rotation within the team)
Have good communication skills to secure involvement of different teams and departments cross projects and the full value chain
Be able to see problems and think quickly on feasible solutions while maintaining safe operations
Think safety first, when you perform your task
You must thrive in a multi-cultural environment and be able to confidently handle all communication in English as it is our company language.
