Operations Manager, O&G Projects & Manpower

We are looking for a person with either a mechanical or electrical background based on experience from on- and offshore oil and gas projects, maintenance, or projects.

The vital ingredient is hands-on experience covering all aspects of oil and gas service and maintenance. If you have these credentials, then NorSea Denmark sees you as a key colleague in our Energy Solutions division.

Our mission is to build profitable growth and scale our oil and gas business, including Engineers, Project managers, Work preparation, HSE supervisors, etc. in our portfolio.

Your initial focus will be to start up and run projects within onshore energy production and offshore oil and gas business.

The ambition is to create strong collaboration with our colleagues in NorSea Group and our owner Wilhelmsen services lines and use this to introduce a one-stop-shop business package to global customers.

You will utilize your skills in networking with customers, partners, and NorSea colleagues to increase our activity in the energy production industry.

Who are you

• Experience from previous job or position in on- and offshore projects
• Project management experience, with holistic management skills
• Relevant leadership experience (smaller teams and/or with matrix organizations)
• Customer engagement drive/experience to build confidence and trust
• Business skills, ability to analyze and navigate at various business levels
• People skills within management and the ability to influence decision-makers.
• Ability to produce and submit a quotation, commercial and contractual experience, and negotiation skills.
• Financial understanding, ability to analyze, and evaluate budgets
• Like to have hands-on and be visible on the various sites and offshore projects if needed 

Job description & responsibilities

As Operations Manager, O&G Projects & Manpower you are responsible for:

• Sales, quoting, commercial offers & lead tendering process
• Project Management within the energy segment for projects and manpower
• Ensure close collaboration with the relevant internal and external stakeholders
• Manage and maintain Customer satisfaction
• Participate in Networking and conferences
• Key Account Management
• Sub-Strategy in close cooperation with Senior Operations Director of Energy Solutions
• Business expansion activities globally and across the region focused on DK
• It is expected to travel between 30 and 60 days a year depending on project activities.
