JOBSUMMARY:

The Operations Supervisor monitors all operations including, but not limited to; Process shipments, prepare paperwork,communicate freightstatusanddispatch driversforpickup.The supervisorwillbe the primary interface between Pilot Freight Services at Maersk Company, customers, sales, system operations and vendors and provide quality customer service, while meeting company policies and procedures.

EssentialFunctions:

Responsibleforongoingprocessanalysisofoperationalsystems,procedures,andstaffingtodrive continuous improvement in operating efficiencies. Assist the location Manager with general tasks

Responsibleforensuringsafe operationsaswellascompliance withallOSHAregulations, all applicable laws, and Pilot’s Corporate Policies

Effectivelytrain,supervise,coachandevaluatealldirectreportstofostergoodcommunicationsand morale

Reviewsoperationalkeyperformancemeasuresmonthlyaswellasbenchmarkingdatatodriveany required correctional or improvement strategies

Communicatingfreightstatusandanyproblemstocustomers,vendorsandotherPilotstationsand personnel

Pay Range:

$60,000-$70,000 per year

*The above stated pay range is the anticipated starting salary range for the position. The Company may adjust this range in light of prevailing market conditions and other factors such as location. The Company will work directly with the selected candidate(s) on the final starting salary in accordance with all applicable laws.
