Job Summary:
Embedded storage specialist focused on connecting sales and marketing with suitable products and services from Avnet’s embedded storage partners, assisting in the successful acquisition of new projects & business.
Principal Responsibilities:
Responding to RFQ’s from the sales teams with a suitable selection of options. This will require asking technical questions about the requirements and end application to the salesperson or the customer to ensure the correct products are offered. Registering new opportunities with the partner, managing and maintaining the opportunity pipeline, performing regular pipeline reviews with the partner and requesting opportunity updates from project team members. Arranging, preparing content for and attending strategic partner reviews. Connecting technical requests from customers to relevant partner support teams. Assisting in the execution of marketing campaigns and ensuring the correct partners & products are represented on the Avnet Website(s). Managing partner delivered training to sales and technical teams. Other duties as assigned.
Job Level Specifications:
Has a good working knowledge of current technologies, form factors and application specific requirements. Can provide solutions for a variety of situations and works on projects requiring specific market knowledge and certifications, guidance and training will be provided as needed. Work is performed independently and requires the exercise of judgment and discretion. Will receive some advice and steering for new assignments. Work may be reviewed for overall adequacy. Collaborates with management and team members within the department/function and other areas of the organization. May represent department internally or externally. Actions may impact the success of the overall department and/or the organization. Failure to accomplish work or erroneous decisions may result in delays to projects, loss of revenue or allocation of additional resources to remedy.
Work Experience:
Typically, 1-2 years industry experience.
