At Vestas, we power the solution, and now we are searching for a new Planning Excellence Specialist to support the regions with the best operational planning. One Tool Unit is a new business unit in Vestas in charge of optimizing and standardizing Vestas's management of various tools for internal customers across the entire value chain of Vestas Construction & Service operations. We aim to enable a globally aligned operation of tools management of regionally focused warehouses, harvesting scalability and efficiency benefits - we call this the One Tool Operating Model.

Responsibilities

Supporting planning and forecasting excellence

Planning of tools for CIM (Continuous Improvement Management) in coordination with regional and global stakeholders

Monitoring that tool purchases are initiated in due time for execution

Analysing the utilization of tools and proactively implementing improvements to the planning process

Supporting global planning and forecasting process for tools availability considering safety stock, demand, and procurement lead time

Collaborating with One Tool unit to ensure alignment across the different work streams, i.e. asset management, operational excellence, and One Tool Operating Model in general

Qualifications

Master's degree in engineering, business, supply chain management, organizational science or equivalent

Experience working with planning or continuous improvement management

Experience in management disciplines is required, i.e. supply chain management, strategy deployment, change management, customer relationship management, business cases development, or similar

Proficient in English, effectively conveying information in writing and through spoken dialogue

Experience working with Microsoft packages and SAP or equivalent ERP

Exposure to international work in a multicultural context is beneficial

Competencies

A team-oriented person who is enthusiastic about the cross-functional collaboration

High stakeholder management skills

Proven ability to work both individually and in teams with tight deadlines

Open-minded and good at sharing/gathering information in a team

Able to cope with change and work under ambiguous circumstances

The ability to hold your ground in discussions without making enemies

Additional Information
The location is either Videbæk or Aarhus, Denmark. If located in Aarhus, driving to Videbæk is required for the first 6 months.
