Plant Finance Business Partner for Topsoe - Herning

At the factory site in Herning, there will be 170 dedicated and strongly committed colleagues producing SOEC Stacks for Topsoe’s Power-to-X solution. You will become a member of the factory management team, and play a key role in providing financial reporting, enabling informed day-to-day decisions.  

As the factory in Herning currently is under construction, you must expect that during the first 6-12 months, majority of work will take place at home and 5-6 days a month at the office/factory sites in Lyngby and Frederikssund. Here you will receive training and introduction to the Topsoe way of work, as well as working on the SAP design, configuration, and test to ensuring readiness for start-up of the factory.  

The Role

Some of your main responsibilities will be:

• Production economy for the SOEC Stack production facility in Herning including OEE and Asset Utilization metrics and Standard Cost prices.
• Site responsible for the production costs (Gross and Net) for Actual, Budget and Forecast numbers and analysis/commentary on variations and development. 
• Analysis of SOEC Stack Cost Price development
• Plant Maintenance Cost administration and financial sign-off/approval and follow-up on business cases
• Manage all financial aspects of the Cost-Out project portfolio for our Herning plant and validate all business cases and lean projects.
• Support design/configuration/test and signoff of SAP solution for SOEC Stack Production

We expect that you have a background within some kind of production performance management. This experience may come from auditing, production controlling, business partnering, supply chain management or such.

Your educational background could be cand. merc., GMM/Production Engineer, MSc in Technology Based Business Development, BDE, HA/BA, or the like.

We think it is optimal that you are living within commuter-range from Herning.

Location 

Lyngby and Herning. In the beginning you will work from HQ in Lyngby with a possibility to work from home 1-2 days a week. From the beginning of 2024 you will primarily be working from the new plant in Herning. A flexible arrangement is attainable, and Topsoe will cover costs concerning transport and accommodation.

Commencement: 1st of June 2023, or perhaps 1st of August 2023
