DTU Biosustain is actively seeking candidates for postdoctoral roles in fields such as sustainability, genomics, microbiology, and bioinformatics/data science. We welcome applications from researchers in these or related fields, especially those focusing on large-scale data integration using advanced technologies (e.g., long-read, single-cell, microscopy, metabolic) for sustainable food and agricultural production. We encourage a broad interpretation of potential research topics, and are interested in candidates who explore any organism, timescale, or level of biological organization, utilizing both computational and experimental methods. Salary and terms of employment
The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations. The allowance will be agreed upon with the relevant union. The period of employment is 3 years.

The Novo Nordisk Foundation Center for Biosustainability (DTU Biosustain) Recent progress in our ability to read and write genomic code, combined with advances in automation, analytics and data science, has fundamentally changed the scope and ambition of harnessing the potential of biological systems.
