It's an exciting time to be a part of IFF! Join our Braband, DK Process R&D team as a Process R&D Engineer/Scientist.
We are looking for an engineer/scientist with the expertise to support our emulsifiers business on a global scale. Our businesses provide world-class solutions to the global food industry.
You will leverage cross-functional disciplines within our global Technology & Innovation community and work with an agile development team of technologists, scientists, and engineers to span the process development process from laboratory experimentation to full-scale process implementation.
You will be directly responsible for process development, scale up of new emulsifier processes and ensuring that our production sites are delivering products that meet quality, quantity, and cost. You will drive scale-up activities and help transfer product from R&D to full scale manufacturing.
The Emulsifier team is part of Core Texturants and Emulsifiers R&D and you will report to the Process R&D Director in Brabrand.

Candidate profile:
• MSc. in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline, or BSc. with some additional years of relevant experience
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong safety leadership and experience with process safety management
• Significant experience with process R&D / process development and success in delivering creative solutions
• Strong technical competence in engineering fundamentals and ability to interpret data and apply scientific principles, theories, and concepts.
• Ability to work cross functionally with R&D, Applications, Regulatory, Manufacturing, Analytical, and Commercial teams
• Strong problem solving and technical competence.
• Data based decision making and strong results driven/action orientated approach to projects
• A demonstrated history of delivering results bringing projects in safely, on time, and within budget
• The ability to effectively present at both informal and formal training settings
• Strong safety culture background and ability to support and influence continued development of strong safety practices
• International experience and bi-lingual capabilities a plus
• Willingness to travel internationally (up to 25%)
