We offer the opportunity to join Toms Group as our new Indirect Procurement Manager, where you will be a part of the indirect team managing global and local contracts with suppliers related to various areas like transport, utilities, facility management, company cars etc.
You will be the main driver of defining future supplier concepts in our global organization, work across cultures and influence future sourcing strategies in your categories. You will act as a trusted procurement advisor for internal stakeholders and a fair commercial counterpart for our suppliers.
Streamline and professionalise indirect procurement
As our new Indirect Procurement Manager, it will be up to you to align all indirect agreements, ensuring that we always choose the most suited service or supplier. Doing so, you will be assessing suppliers and services across sites and looking at our cooperation and service agreements to ascertain which can best be utilised going forward.
Your primary tasks will be:
- Select and drive CAPEX and OPEX projects from start to end.
- Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers across our manufacturing sites in Denmark, Poland and sales offices in Germany and Sweden.
- Run tenders with fact-based evaluations, and timely execution.
- Ensure savings reporting and follow-up.
- Drive supplier engagement and performance.
- Understanding market dynamics and commercial levers.
- Develop and align strategies for your areas and ensure implementation.
- Define and update global indirect procurement processes, templates and policies.
- Help mature Indirect Procurement towards the next level.
- Identify commercial opportunities in spend patterns and market developments.
About you
You are a driven and ambitious procurement professional with a holistic approach to procurement and good track record of creating strong sourcing options. You also need to have proven capabilities in defining category strategies and translating into practical implementation. You have an outgoing personality and are used to cooperating with both internal and external stakeholders. A strategic and analytic mindset is important to this role, as well as solid negotiations skills. We presume that you have experience within indirect Procurement or similar positions. We expect you to have Business English skills on a high level.
