Product data specialist

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented colleague to help us reach our ambitious goals as we are accelerating our sustainable journey.

In your position as Product Data Specialist at Actona Group, you will focus on building our Bill of Material (BoM) structure within our ERP systems. When the structure is up and running, you will concentrate on gathering BoMs from suppliers and effectively managing and handling this data.

About the position

As our new Product Data Specialist, you will be responsible for building, monitoring, and maintaining our product hierarchy, which includes structuring our BoMs. The BoMs will be utilised for carbon footprint calculations, and together with external partners, you will make sure they contain the necessary information. In addition, you will be working closely together with our Chinese master data colleagues.

As part of being a BoM specialist in Actona Group, you will be conducting training sessions on processes for our internal teams as well as being the go-to person for help, knowledge sharing, etc. You will educate your team members in Group Sustainability & Master Data on the options and concerns associated with BoM implementation.

Your role will focus on sustainability, and you will be part of fostering a sustainable mindset and participating in choosing materials that minimise environmental impact.

As we expect you to be a specialist in BoM, we do not imagine you already being a sustainability specialist. Our skilled colleagues will as part of your training passionately share their knowledge and help you to learn all there is to learn about sustainability, carbon footprint calculations, Co2e tracking, etc.

Your role will also include the following responsibilities:

• Building and maintaining product hierarchy with precision.
• Conducting internal training sessions on BoM processes.
• Serving as the go-to colleague for BoM matters.
• Ensuring coherence between BoM information in ERP and PIM systems.
• Co-operating with Chinese master data and quality colleagues for daily BoM activities.

Who are you?

You like structure and aren't intimidated by large amounts of data. You have an eye for detail and enjoy working with complex systems and processes. Perhaps you are experienced in production planning and are seeking more involvement with system work.

You possess a great drive and are ambitious about developing your professional skills.
