THE POSITION

Moonboon is growing fast internationally. For this exciting growth journey, we are looking for a Product Development Engineer for the development of technical IoT devices in the baby/child sphere, project management, and app integrations.

You will report to our COO, Jacob Vesterled. In addition, you will work closely with our Technical Manager, our Supply Chain Manager and our founder and CEO, Marie Grew.

To develop the best innovative solutions, you will work with colleagues across the organization within sales, operations and marketing. It is therefore important that our coming Product Development Engineer has excellent skills within stakeholder management and communication.

The position is full-time and is based at Moonboon’s head quarter in Copenhagen.

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Drive for new product development utilising cutting edge and existing technology in new applications.
• Electronics/hardware experience.
• Understanding of integration with app.
• Project management experience and skills.
• Knowledge of and experience with machine learning (robot/AI technology).
• Detailed time planning and cost analysis to ensure development of new technology on time and according to specs and demands.
• Basic design skills and experience with drawing programs is a plus, e.g. SolidWorks or similar.
• Evaluate and implement ideas and cost savings to improve products continuously.
• Bachelor (e.g. Engineering, Innovation and Business) or similar education.
• Fluency in English.

ADDITIONAL WISHES

• Understanding of and experience with safety standards (EN norms).
• Experience with documentation of technical products.
• Experience with sourcing and validation of suppliers and production facilities.
