As our new Product Owner supporting Pharmaceutical Production & Supply Chain, you will join more than 500 employees across Denmark and France who are responsible for manufacturing and packaging of sterile and dry forms formulations to Lundbeck and external customers, product introduction, direct sourcing, contract manufacturing, artwork management, master data, production planning, warehousing, and distribution. This position is based in Lundbeck’s headquarter in Valby, Denmark.
 
Your new role – why is this a great opportunity?
As Product Owner, you will be responsible for the overall vision and strategy execution of our advanced analytics program. You will be responsible for identification, quantification, and prioritization of high impact business improvements across our manufacturing and supply chain processes, in collaboration with subject matter experts and leadership, to create a solid portfolio of advanced analytics initiatives in line with strategic objectives.

 

Following Agile way of working, you will daily collaborate and guide the efforts of a skilled team of software developers, scrum master and data scientists in a cross-functional team responsible for the development of advanced analytics solutions to business problems, to be developed on our advanced analytics platform.

 

You will play an important role in our efforts to strengthen our processes within manufacturing and supply chain management, with the aim of improving reliability, cost, and quality. You will be responsible in the creation and prioritization of a portfolio of improvement activities across the business area, combining process expertise, data insights and advanced analytics tools. The activities vary in scope and complexity and will often involve a high number of stakeholders from different parts of the organization.

What you bring to the team 

  • Relevant education, such as M.Sc. in Engineering, Data science, Pharmaceutical science or similar.

  • Solid business analysis skills, to identify and prioritize initiatives by value and potential ROI, being passionate about driving their realization.

  • Good understanding of production processes and the ability to translate production problems into workable data problems to be solved by advanced analytics. Experience within pharmaceutical production is a clear advantage. 

  • Good analytical skills, in order to draw meaningful insights to inform decision-making and translate them into workable solutions.

  • Experience from a cross-functional team and Agile way of working is an advantage.

  • Experience with Six Sigma, DMCAI model and LEAN methodology is an advantage.

  • Great stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trust and collaboration in and around the delivery team, while communicating clear vision and aligning expectations to stakeholders.

  • You build team spirit by listening, consulting, and communicating openly and effectively.

  • You have an open and curious mindset, that is eager to experiment with the delivery team and the organization, to find the best way forward in front of complexity and uncertainty. 

 
As some of the activities involve our international sites and suppliers, we expect you to be fluent both in written and spoken English. Proficiency in Danish or French will be considered an advantage, but not a requirement.
