We are looking for a Product Owner with experience in areas related to sales processes who will be the key link between our customers and our software development teams.
Configit is looking for product owners to help us refine and strengthen our product offering toward sales and marketing. Our customers are primarily manufacturing companies with products of a very complex nature such as cars from Jaguar Land Rover or MR scanners from Philips Healthcare. The reason they chose Configit is because our underlying technology can handle their complexity better than our competitors. However, to bring these benefits out to the rest of the organization, we need a product owner with a deep understanding of how configurable products are being positioned and sold in the market through the use of sales-tools such as Salesforce CRM, websites and e-commerce platforms.
As a Product Owner, you will be responsible for guiding the development of innovative software products and ensuring that they meet the needs and expectations of customers and users. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, to define requirements, prioritize features, and deliver high-quality solutions. Your role is crucial in executing the product strategy, refining high-level requirements to product features, and maximizing the value delivered by the development team.
What you’ll do Ensure we’re building the right things Work with product managers and customers to understand high level desired outcomes Using the product vision as a starting point, engage with key stakeholders and customers to identify opportunities and make informed product decisions Collaborate with the development team to refine potential solutions Decide when/if to lead product discovery or to go directly into implementation Play a key role in prioritizing new features, customer change requests, and bugs in the team backlog Team Support and Agile Collaboration Ownership of the team backlog, including prioritization of features ensuring quality and reducing technical debt
What you bring Passionate about improving our customer’s experience and business outcomes An interest in technology A strong desire to ask why and understand the needs behind customer requests Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing stakeholder relationships. You are a subject matter expert in areas related to sales processes for configurable products (likely in CRM and e-commerce tool)
