Then come join us in our international Product Management team in Hedehusene and play a vital role in ensuring that myDSV works in full alignment with DSV Road business processes. 

“You’ll have business ownership of our customer portal, which is the first and at times only point of contact in DSV Road. So, you can be part of giving customers the best experience through automated processes,” says Maximilian Pfander, Manager, Product Management.

Be part of our international and centralised Product Management team

Located within Business Change Management in DSV Road, we are 8 colleagues in a growing Product Management team. Together, we ensure that the DSV Road division has the best applications for their daily work. 

Although you will be the sole owner of myDSV in the DSV road division, your app will have a lot of touchpoints with other apps and product owners across your team and across other divisions in DSV.

“We’re a great mix of colleagues. 50% of us are in Hedehusene and often have lunch together and a coffee chat. The other half is based all over Europe, but we often meet here at HQ to connect and discuss our experiences,” explains Maximillian. 

Be the centre point and knowledge keeper of myDSV

Our customer portal myDSV is where our customers make their bookings, track shipments, request a price and many other things. The application is used by multiple divisions, each represented by one business product owner, and the in-house development is coordinated by a global product owner team. 

You are representing the Road division, and your job will be to ensure that the app works in full alignment with the DSV Road business processes and that road business requirements are correctly realised by the global team that drives the development. This means that you will be an important link between business processes and the customer, converting desired requirements into IT deliverables in cooperation with the global myDSV product owner team. 

As the internal go-to-person for the app, you will ensure a good user experience and product adoption, just as you will:

  • Ensure that all development requirements are in alignment with road business processes and prioritised in alignment with corresponding business projects 
  • Ensure that all new functionalities have been properly tested and signed off 
  • Collaborate closely with product owners of other apps and process owners to define the standard of working in the DSV Road division across Europe 
  • Work with local user representatives in all countries in contact with DSV customers
  • Coordinate training activities to ensure that users and user representatives have the required knowledge to use the application correctly 
  • Collaborate with IT teams responsible for software development and maintenance tasks 
  • Some experience as a product owner

    In this role, you need to be able to represent and sometimes defend the choices made for the application. Therefore, you have to be a good communicator to handle all stakeholders and work within your own team and different project teams. 

    You must also keep a process mindset to ensure a good customer experience. Finally, we imagine that you:

  • Have some experience as a product owner representing an application
  • Have some knowledge about freight forwarding processes or a logistics background
  • Are fluent in English
