Drive agile initiatives by applying DSV’s hybrid practice of Prince2 and Agile

DSV is embarking on an exciting digital journey which will substantially change the way we conduct our business, to ensure we deliver efficient and quality digital products and processes to our customers, both internally and externally.

In DSV Group PMO we embrace an agile mindset in the way we drive projects while also supporting the Prince2 practice.

This is a unique opportunity to drive new agile initiatives within digital products, IT platform and processes by applying DSV’s hybrid practice of Prince2 and Agile methodology.

Key responsibilities

As a project manager it is key you will be driving the execution of top prioritized digital projects in an agile way – from exploring the opportunities and benefits of each idea, facilitating scope alignment, execute on the delivery, implement the final solution and in parallel provide reporting of progress to the project board and senior stakeholders.

While managing the projects, you will lead and interact with many colleagues and stakeholders across the organisation. This could include top management, business stakeholders, product owners, IT staff, architects and supporters.

Specifically, your job will involve:

Align the digital project objective, identify and plan relevant activities

Ensure appropriate and effective agile/prince2 governance, supported by comprehensive reporting and communication

Facilitate decision-making in the digital projects to ensure delivery of milestones and objectives

Ensure initiatives overcome challenges, dependencies / risks are managed, and impediments solved

Ensure effective stakeholder management and alignment with all parties

We’re looking for an experienced digital project manager with strong stakeholder management skills

The ideal candidate thrives with working in a challenging, fast paced and changing environment dealing with a lot of different tasks at the same time.

In addition, it’s preferred that you have:

Experience working with agile projects under digital transformation

+5 years of project management experience leading IT engagements from idea to production in partnership with business functions

Certifications within Prince2, Scrum, Agile is a clear advantage

Bachelor degree or higher

Excellent communication and facilitation skills

Situational Management skills

Problem solving skills

Stakeholder management skills

Performance motivation

Fluent in English. Danish is an advantage, but is not a prerequisite

The position is based at the DSV headquarter in Hedehusene, Denmark
