Your challenges
You will take lead on supply activities in New Product Launch (NPL) and product optimization projects, and you will be responsible for enabling a connection between technology, product development and production mainly within the PU area. As Project Manager, you will drive the development, optimization and implementation of production processes and new technology to ensure that we have the right setup to accommodate new product launches. Being part of our Center of Excellence in supply, you will achieve your results in close collaboration with our European polyurethane window factories, our technology department as well as the product development organisation and other internal stakeholders.
More specifically, you will:
Lead, facilitate and coordinate project activities mainly within the PU area, including project planning and stakeholder management
Participate in product development projects, representing the PU area, and ensure efficient design for manufacturing
Design and implement process flows for new production setups
Evaluate and identify manufacturing technologies and processes needed for new products
Participate in activities associated with process optimization
As you are part of a global organization, you can expect to travel approx. 15-20 days a year within Europe, primarily to our customers and suppliers.
Your qualifications
We will come to know you as a structured and proactive Project Manager, who takes ownership of your work and does not let go of a task until it has been completed in a satisfactory manner. You have solid planning skills and take pride in meeting your deadlines. You feel comfortable working in a highly technical environment and with your curious and investigative mind, you naturally challenge our ways of thinking and working, and you are willing to make your opinions known in a constructive way – always with a focus on how to create value for the business.
You feel comfortable in an outgoing and networking role, and with your ability to communicate and involve yourself across different levels of the organization, you easily establish trust with your stakeholders, understand their needs and challenges, manage expectations, and ensure buy-in. You know how to balance patience with the urge to move things forward, and a key focus of yours is to create visibility of activities and risks while motivating the project team to follow plans and respect deliverables and milestones.
Moreover, you:
Hold a BSc or MSc in Production Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or similar
Bring some years of technical experience working as an engineer in a production environment
Probably have a few years of project management experience already
Have a solid understanding of production processes and the link between them
Take an investigative and analytical approach to your work
Thrive in an environment characterized by complexity and change and are able to adapt
Speak and write English at a professional level. Proficiency in Danish is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
Knowledge or experience in polyurethane and PVC is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
