Could you be the full-time Project V&V Designer in Oslo we’re looking for?

Your future role

Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside passionate, motivated and dedicated teammates.

Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Project Team members, Customers, Partners and Members of the Project Core Team. You will be a member of the V&V (Verification and Validation) team which defines the integration and validation test strategy and carries out the testing and verification activities on a complex signalling project.Signalling functionalities are tested in a factory on the integrated system composed of the three main sub-systems: Interlocking, Level 2 European Train Control System (ETCS) and Traffic Management System (TMS). V&V activities are also carried on each sus-system.

We’ll look to you for:

  • Define and/or review test procedures setting up relevant acceptance criteria against functional requirements and operational context descriptions.
  • Define regression test strategies for the incremental project deliveries by analysing the impact of requirements and software/data modifications on the system functionalities.
  • Deploy/configure test environments (virtual or target HW) and implement test scripts.
  • Run the in-house integration and validation tests.
  • Analyse test results (based on observations collected during the test and the evaluation of logs collected from the equipment under test) and produce test reports.
  • Execute verification activities including the preparation and review of verification reports.
  • Defect reporting and follow-up with designers responsible for the different sub-systems.
  • All about you

We value passion and attitude over experience. That’s why we don’t expect you to have every single skill. Instead, we’ve listed some that we think will help you succeed and grow in this role:

  • You are graduated with a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Engineering or Computer Science.
  • 3 to 5 years in designing or testing of railway signaling systems.
  • Fluent in English: both written and spoken is essential to this position’s demands.
  • Things you’ll enjoy

Join us on a life-long transformative journey – the rail industry is here to stay, so you can grow and develop new skills and experiences throughout your career. You’ll also:

  • Enjoy stability, challenges and a long-term career free from boring daily routines
  • Collaborate with transverse teams and helpful colleagues
  • Contribute to innovative projects
  • Utilise our flexible working environment
  • Steer your career in whatever direction you choose across functions and countries
  • Benefit from our investment in your development, through award-winning learning
  • Benefit from a fair and dynamic reward package that recognises your performance and potential, plus comprehensive and competitive social coverage (life, medical, pension).
  • You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!

    Important to note

As a global business, we’re an equal-opportunity employer that celebrates diversity across the 63 countries we operate in. We’re committed to creating an inclusive workplace for everyone.
