QEHS Specialist - Kruså Mejeri

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Quality, Environment, Health, and Safety (QEHS) Specialist to join our expanding QEHS team at Kruså Dairy. Kruså Dairy is a highly modern and technological dairy placed in the southern part of Denmark. We produce 28,500 tons of white cheese each year and employ 200 colleagues. In the QEHS department, we focus on improving and optimising the work environment and our environmental responsibility to the surroundings. We are certified according to ISO 14001, IFS and BRC.

How you will make an impact

In this role, you will have full responsibility for the quality management system, ensuring compliance with GFSI certifications as well as meeting customer requirements and driving food safety-related projects. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to maintaining and enhancing our quality and food safety standards, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving continuous improvement.

More specifically, your responsibilities include:

Manage the implementation of new versions of IFS/BRC and customer requirements, ensuring timely and successful compliance.

Oversee the specification management process for new and existing products and ingredients in 3DX, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Update HACCP-related documents and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Collaborate with external stakeholders, such as regulatory agencies and certification bodies, to maintain positive relationships and stay informed about industry best practices.

What will make you successful

To succeed in this role, we imagine that you have:

A degree in Food Science, Microbiology, or a related field.

Proven experience in a similar role within the food processing industry, with a focus on GFSI certifications (IFS and BRC), quality management systems, and food safety.

Experience in developing and managing quality management systems, including document control, change control, and risk assessment.

Professional certifications related to quality management and food safety (e.g., Certified Quality Engineer, HACCP) are highly desirable.

As a person, you possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. It’s important that you pay attention to details and have a high degree of accuracy in documentation and record-keeping. You will be working across departments and with external stakeholders, so therefore you need to have good communication and interpersonal skills. Lastly, you will find yourself in a fast-paced environment, so it’s important that you’re able to prioritize tasks and work independently.
