The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the FMCG industry with specific expertise in food service and retail. As a Sales Manager, you will play a vital role in driving sales growth, expanding our customer base, and building strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company targets and objectives in the FMCG industry, with a focus on food service and retail sectors.
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including prospecting, cold calling, and networking.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
Conduct regular market research and analysis to identify trends, competitors, and growth opportunities.
Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing and operations, to ensure effective sales strategies and seamless execution.
Analyze and evaluate sales performance data, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
Monitor industry and market developments, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Stay up-to-date with industry regulations, standards, and best practices to ensure compliance within the organization.
Attend industry trade shows, conferences, and events to represent the company and expand the brand presence.
Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management, highlighting achievements, challenges, and proposed strategies.
Proven track record of successful sales management in the FMCG industry, with specific experience in food service and retail sectors.
Strong knowledge of the food and beverage industry, including an understanding of current market trends, consumer preferences, and relevant regulations.
Exceptional sales and negotiation skills, with a demonstrated ability to close deals and meet or exceed targets.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues on time.
Self-motivated and results-driven, with a proactive and entrepreneurial mindset.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team, taking ownership of assigned tasks and projects.
Proficient in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field is preferred.
