You might have seen our other job ad where we are looking for another Senior Group Controller. This ad is a second position for the same team, as we are not looking to overburden one person with the responsibilities of two. While the roles are similar here, you will be more focused on accounting matters, and implementing consolidation principles by leveraging your banking and IFRS experience.

What you will be doing
Provide input to the annual reports and our monthly reports and make sure they are compliant and delivered timely to the management, investors, and authorities.
Further development of our practices in Finance, hereunder streamlining our current processes and reporting.
Reporting practices and we rely on you to optimize the way we currently do this with your specialist expertise.
Key actor in the use of our to-be-implemented consolidation system (LucaNet).
Preferably you have a good understanding of conducting our consolidation and in addition, you will help further improve our use of the system and how it is set up in the smartest way possible according to Lunar’s set-up and ambitions on longer terms.
You will spend your days together with this team
As our new Senior Group Controller, you will report directly to our Finance Director. You will be part of our Finance-team with 20+ amazing colleagues working across Aarhus and Copenhagen, and you will be part of the broader Finance-function, led by CFO Rie Ruby.
To be successful in this role, you’ll need
A CMA, Accounting, and controlling or another degree within accounting or finance.
Strong financial background with at least 3 years of experience in one or more Group Controller roles in the banking industry.
Danish and English Fluency.
A deep understanding of IFRS standards and their application in a group setting, with a passion for staying up-to-date with changes and developments in the accounting world.
Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to spot trends, identify issues and find solutions.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and build strong relationships.
A passion for problem-solving and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, using your creativity to find new ways to streamline our processes and improve our financial reporting.
Experience with ERP systems, chart of accounts setup, and control framework can also be qualifications that could be brought into use.
