In Digital, Data and IT (DD&IT) CIO Office, we are looking for an experienced and execution focused Sr. IT Project Manager to drive one of the key projects in the Scalability Programme, namely the Fast and User-friendly Onboarding Project. The Onboarding Project aim to dramatically reduce the time it takes to onboard internal and external to Novo Nordisk, taking a user journey approach to cut the complexity in a process running across multiple systems and owners. As our new Senior IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for all deliveries within the project and most important ensure that the project provide real value (reduced lead time) to the entire organisation.
To achieve this, you will need to successfully manage the full lifecycle of the solutions, from UX/design over cross-functional development to organisational change management and stakeholder management. You will work closely up with both the business owner (VP for DD&IT P&O and the programme manager). By doing so, you will have a vital role in ensuring Novo Nordisk continued digital expansion ensuring a real difference, for real people.
More specifically, your responsibilities will evolve around the following areas:
Overall, you should, as our Senior IT Project Manager, be able to balance technical and process insights with project management skills while being able to effectively communicate, advise and collaborate with stakeholders across organizational levels and functions.
What we’re looking for?
We imagine that you hold a degree within a relevant field, for example, engineering, computer science, or business administration, and have +5 years of relevant experience from IT project management in large organisations. Likewise, we believe that you will be able to tick the following boxes:
Joining the IT Scalability Programme and ESDO
Novo Nordisk has high ambitions for growth and expansions. The Scalability Programme implements the next generation of shared IT services and infrastructure that is required for enabling the scaling of Novo Nordisk. You will therefore join a cross-DD&IT programme working with people setting the strategic agenda for digital, data and IT to those that are implementing the latest technology. The programme is in its mobilisation phase and is expected to have a duration of 2years. The position is permanent and will report directly to the Vice President the Scalability Programme, Rasmus Anker.
This programme is our newest initiative within DD&IT and will therefore be very transformational. You can expect the opportunity to actively impact our definition and enablement of our foundational capabilities. To reach our goal, we will continuously grow the team with competent new colleagues which means that you will become part of a programme organisation that spans departments and specialties. We will however all be connected by the purpose of ensuring that Novo Nordisk IT capabilities will be equipped for the future.
