Senior Lean Process Engineer

FLC is looking for a Senior Lean Process Engineer to lead our continuous improvement efforts and optimize our production processes. The Senior Lean Process Engineer will be responsible for analyzing and improving our production cycles, reducing waste and inefficiencies, and implementing Lean methodologies across our organization. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Lean principles, a track record of successful process improvement in manufacturing or production processes.

Who is FLC?

Femern Link Contractors, FLC, is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies with individual experience in large infrastructure projects.

Together, we are committed to working together to deliver a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals and ramps, delivered on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of project control engineers to identify, prioritize and implement production process improvements.
• Analyze current processes and identify areas for improvement using Lean principles.
• Train the organization on Lean principles and process improvements.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure consistent implementation of Lean methodologies.
• Monitor process performance and implement corrective actions when necessary.
• Manage multiple process improvement projects simultaneously.
• Champion a continuous improvement culture across the organization.

Qualifications:

• Strong leadership skills and the ability to drive change across the organization.
• Strong experience working in a manufacturing or production environment is mandatory.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a process improvement role, with a focus on Lean methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead production teams.
• Project management experience, including the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Ability to identify waste and inefficiencies in processes and develop effective solutions.
