Would you like to become part of an iconic design brand with a unique culture and an engaging community? If yes, please read on! About the job As a Senior PR Coordinator, you will join our PR team of three colleagues, as part of the Brand and Communications department.
You will be working out of HAY’s Copenhagen office, located in the heart of the city, surrounded by a talented and dedicated team that values collaboration.
The role is a maternity cover starting from Thursday, 1 August , with a duration of approximately one year.
You will primarily be responsible for strengthening HAY’s PR efforts in the Nordics, ensuring maximal brand exposure in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland.
More specifically, your tasks will includeStrategic ownership of HAY’s PR efforts in the Nordics, in close collaboration with International PR ManagerOverlooking, maintaining, and growing HAY’s relationships to key press in the Nordic region, in a proactive mannerHandling day to day tasks connected to HAY’s press efforts in this region, ensuring continuous press coverage across the markets in questionAdministration and maintenance of press database, including continuous research to identify relevant new contacts in the respective marketsLiaising with international media, including handling incoming enquiries as well as ensuring proactive communication with top tier publicationsManaging product loans, both locally and in collaboration with our local offices and partners in the NordicsCoordinating and carrying out interview requests by a broad variety of international mediaPlanning and executing various press initiatives such as events and fairsCo-creating press assets such as newsletters and press releases, together with the PR teamHandling a diverse range of ad-hoc tasks within PR and Communications Are you the Senior PR Coordinator we are looking for? Expectations for the roleAn independent and strategic mindsetOrganization and structure to keep up with multiple tasks in a fast-moving work environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to cooperate with different stakeholders both internally and externally while finding joy in collaboration Experience for the rolePreferably 3-5 years of experience from a similar position within the design industryFluency in English, and preferably also speaking one or more of the Scandinavian languagesIn-Design knowledge is a plus You want to be a part of HAY? Then do not hesitate to send us your application and CV as soon as possible and no later than Sunday 5 May .
