Transforming our approach to Data and Analytics is a fundamental part of this journey and we are seeking a passionate and experienced individual to join our team as a Senior Project Manager, reporting to our Data Protection Programme Manager.

About the role
In this important role, you will manage some of our delivery teams to enhance our data protection processes in order to build a sustainable and compliant data driven organisation.

Your accountabilities:

Drive projects from start to finish using structured plans, methods and tools

Monitor and report on project progress, budget and timeline, ensuring risks and issues are identified, managed and escalated appropriately

Bring ideas, structure, and problem-solving skills to tackle some of the issues facing our Data Protection agenda

Develop compliant solutions involving data mapping and classification, policy and procedure development, data subject rights management, data breach management, security and other GDPR related themes

Work with external stakeholders to ensure that the solutions are embedded within the organisation

Coach colleagues to deliver excellence and share best practices to drive efficiency in a team

About you
You will have experience of delivering regulatory programmes and be enthusiastic about technology transformation in general.

Advanced communication skills and demonstrable experience driving cross-border project activities and influencing external stakeholders

7+ years’ experience driving projects or managing a prioritized change agenda in a matrix organisation

Eager to learn and proactively unblock issues

Someone who takes the lead to progress against a goal, likes to work within a diverse and inclusive team, builds relationships and supports others

Possess an analytical mindset, be able to break down complex problems and find the right solutions, and exercise judgment to balance competing demands and potential solutions to issues

Relevant university education such as business management, engineering, project management, or similar

Experience with regulatory change around data privacy would be a bonus.
