Welcome to Global R&D the beating heart of GN Audio
We are now expanding our team of software developers in our R&D department, where our state-of-the-art Jabra communication-, and music products are born. We are on an exciting SAFe Scaled Agile framework implementation journey, where we are constantly developing our approach, methods, and process.
As one of our new Software Developers, you will be based at our global HQ located in Ballerup, Denmark. You will be working in a fast-paced agile, global environment.

What will you be doing?
You will be part of the Jabra+ software team consisting of more than 50 dedicated engineers divided into 8 teams. Most of your colleagues in your daily activities are primarily located in Ballerup and Warsaw, Poland, whereby it is paramount that you can navigate in a hybrid collaboration model.
Together, we are responsible for specification, design, implementation and testing of Jabra+ which is a new cloud platform that will be responsible for maintaining and supporting all Jabra products for retail and enterprise customers.
As a Software Developer, you will enable our solutions to shape the future of the Jabra software. Jabra+ consists of a cloud platform, desktop, and mobile applications, as well as, a web portal and external services for our partners. And as we want to remain at the very forefront of the market, we reinvest more than 10% of our revenue in R&D every year – so, it is no coincidence that we keep setting trends.
Developing and maintaining GN Audio's software platform for current and future products will be your primary mission
Working in an agile set up, you will collaborate closely with application software and software testing teams. We are looking for someone, who enjoys being part of a team in an agile set-up, who shares a passion for different tasks within cloud and frontend software development. Someone who likes the idea of sharing ideas and collaborating. We believe we have a working environment that offers opportunities for development.
Depending on your interests, experience, and level of skills you will be responsible for some or most of the following tasks:
Help discover and introduce new services in Jabra+ platform
Plan, interface and negotiate software deliveries with other team members
Communicate and exchange knowledge with other teams responsible for other services or SDK

C# programming skills:
You contribute with the latest knowhow on how to build cloud applications, both in the choice of Azure services, regarding development tools and processes; use of latest state-of-the-art CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps) and methodologies.
You have been working professionally in programming for years. You can develop fully functional microservices, ultimately with a clear interface and structured design and have good ideas on how to do well planned development avoiding technical debt. You know how to write high quality and easily testable code. You have been using Azure services like ASB, Cosmos DB and App Insights. Azure IoT Hub experience is nice to have.
Education degree:
You most likely possess a relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree in software, electronics or similar, but this is not a prerequisite for the position.
Fluent written and spoken English skills
