Software Engineering interns to join MobilePay

At first, MobilePay’s vision was simple – change the way a nation transfers money. We succeeded, but there is still more for us to achieve. We are brand #1 in Denmark and soon we will merge with Norweigan Vipps, which is the most loved brand in Norway. Serving 11 million users and over 400,000 shops and web shops, the new merged company will become one of the largest bank-owned mobile payment providers in Europe and our ambition is to make it very, very easy to pay and get paid.

When joining MobilePay as an intern you will be an important member to our team, and we will do our best to accommodate that you will work with your area of interest whether it is within front-end, back-end or full-stack. During your time with us, you will be involved in the entire development process including specifying requirements and discussing solutions as well as developing, testing and releasing MobilePay code.

You will get the opportunity to work with cutting edge technologies and methodologies depending on your area of interest and your desire to learn e.g.:

• C#, Go Lang, JavaScript, TypeScript, Kotlin, Swift
• ASP.NET Core 6.0, RabbitMQ, Docker
• MSSQLServer, Cassandra.
• Azure Cloud, AzureDevOps, xUnit, MOQ

Our life span is finite, and we spend a meaningful time of it on work, so it’s important that we enjoy our time at the office. We have lots of laughs, room for diversity and in between work we enjoy rounds of table tennis or PlayStation games possibly combined with an awesome cup of barista level coffee.

As an intern in MobilePay, you will be able to take the first steps in your future career. We don’t expect you to be an expert within the above-mentioned technologies, but instead we aim for you to know much more after the internship, than before you started working in MobilePay.

The internship will last 20 weeks from 1 August 2023 to 31 December 2023 and will of course fit in with your studies. You will be employed on a full-time basis.
