Specialized Marine Travel Consultant

As a Specialized Marine Travel Consultant, you’ll join our new but highly skilled team, providing outstanding service to our Energy, Mining & Marine business clients both Nordic, regional and global.

What You’ll Do on a Typical Day

Act as the point of sale on all Domestic & International travel requirements, arranging both routine and complex travel for air, rail, car, and hotel accommodation, utilizing the AMADEUS Global Distribution Systems (GDS).

Conduct analysis and research on travel options, and pro-actively anticipate traveler needs to sell additional services.

Ensure compliance to customers’ agreed travel policy, service provider policies, and regulatory requirements.

Use positive telephone service techniques and act on special customer requests.

What We’re Looking For

Possess a strong understanding of the travel industry with a background in business travel, & deep knowledge of Marine/Offshore fare qualifications, rules and booking process

Detailed understanding of fares and ticketing rules, including marine fares, and ticketing rules, as well as car, air, hotel travel

Extensive international geography knowledge.

High proficiency in Amadeus

Able to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency while maintaining a professional rapport and multi-task, accepting, and adapting to change quickly and professionally.

Professional communication (written and verbal)

Attention to detail

Passion for excellence in client service, including proactive anticipation of needs.

Teamwork and openness to feedback

Fluent in Danish/Norwegian and English, both verbal and written.
