We are active within physical and financial energy trading, portfolio management, and associated trading in derivative financial instruments. We are an international organization headquartered in Aarhus with 250 employees distributed at our offices in Aarhus, Søborg, Malmö, Oslo, and Helsinki. We are starting to implement a new and ambitious strategy and are thus strengthening our team with 2-3 strategy consultants. 

A JOB WITH FOCUS ON STRATEGIC PROBLEM-SOLVING, SUPPORT OF STRATEGIC INITIATIVES AND SUCCESSFUL EXECUTION 

As a Strategy Consultant within Strategy & Transformation you will carry out a diverse set of challenging tasks that support formulation and implementation of strategy across business areas and functions. We support top management with strategic insights and decision-making in strong collaboration with both our business areas and local markets. We develop and drive the implementation of long-term strategy initiatives to support the business. We ensure that progress is transparent, tasks are manageable, and that execution is successful. 

As a strategy consultant you will work across disciplines and focus on the strategic development of e.g. customer offerings and go-to-market, trading set-up or digital capabilities. You work as a partner to the business management in a dynamic way and support strategy implementation. 

EXAMPLES OF KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Research, analyze, and present strategic problem-solving on narrow and broad strategic issues in collaboration with our business areas. 

• Coordinate and support scoping and deployment of strategic initiatives. 

• Support execution and ensure transparency in strategy implementation – from management team to specific project teams. 

ABOUT YOU 

• You have a relevant educational background - maybe within business, social sciences, engineering, or other relevant fields with proven academic and extra-curricular results. 

• You have 1 – 5 years of relevant experience from business strategy, commercial development, consulting or digital development. 

• You maybe have experience with project management, investment projects and/or business transformation. 

• You have maybe already worked within the energy industry, commodity trading, B2B sectors, digitalization, or other relevant fields. 

• You are ready to join a cross-cutting strategy team that can accelerate your learning journey in a unique environment with a strong mandate. 

WHAT YOU BRING 

• You have a strong commercial and analytical mindset with a growing interest in corporate strategy.  

• You have a good overview, work in a proactive, structured and documenting manner, with a natural focus on finishing tasks. 

• You are curious, act with integrity – but are also able to constructively challenge managers on arguments, progress and methods. 

• You wish to learn and be challenged with complex problems and solutions in a growing industry. 

• You have solid IT skills, well-versed in the Office suite, especially PowerPoint.
