We are looking for a student assistant to join our partnership team. You will support various communications activities in our research projects and will also contribute actively with creative content. 

The ideal candidate has experience with most communication disciplines – web, text, designs, podcasts, or video – and experience with multiple platforms and formats. Also, you have the will and drive to take on all kinds of tasks –big or small.  

 

Tasks will include:

  • Assist with content creation. 
  • Ongoing support and maintenance of web, text, and designs.
  • Ad hoc tasks, including solving incoming requests.
  • Coordination of workshops, events, webinars, and meetings

 

We are focusing on these communications areas: 

  • Project communications  
    Ensure a consistent flow of information in our flagship projects and keep project partners and audiences engaged, i.e. with newsletters and SoMe content.
  • Internal communications 
    Deliver internal communications in formats that enable change and create a sense of common cause. 
  • Science communications
    We train our researchers' science communication competencies and inspire them to become more active in their research outreach. 
     

It is an advantage if you have experience and/or talent for working with:

 Adobe Creative Cloud (PhotoShop, Premiere, InDesign, etc.)

  • Video production
  • Web development and maintenance (Sitecore, WIX, WordPress)
  • Canva or similar design software
  • Basic generative AI

Excellent communication skills in English is required. Excellent communication skills in Danish preferred, but not required.

Salary and appointment terms
Working hours are on average 15 hours per week and can be organised flexibly in relation to holidays, exams, etc. The starting date is immediate or as fast as possible and no later than 1 March 2024. 

Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the OAO-S Joint Agreement and the organization agreement for Office Clerks, Laboratory Technicians and IT staff (HK/stat). Student employment §35.

Your primary workplace will be DTU Risø Campus near Roskilde and occasionally Campus Lyngby). We have a flexible approach to remote working, based on tasks.
