Student Assistant for the Corporate IT team at the Novo Nordisk Foundation
Are you a tech-savvy student looking for a job to kick-start your career? The Novo Nordisk Foundation is looking for a student assistant (part-time) to join the Corporate IT team.

Corporate IT is responsible for providing IT services and IT solutions to the Novo Nordisk Foundation, Novo Holdings and its subsidiaries. The Corporate IT function is covering a wide range of IT domains, such as the IT infrastructure, the corporate IT applications, AI-/automation technologies, cyber security and IT service and support to more than 500 colleagues globally.

As a student assistant, you will be part of a team of 10 IT professionals who work closely together to deliver best-in-class IT services every day. This is done in close collaboration with our outsourcing partner, multiple technology vendors, and stakeholders across the organisations. You will have the opportunity to learn from experienced colleagues with different professional backgrounds and gain hands-on experience with various IT projects and tasks. Further, you will become part of a network of student assistants with more than 50 students across the foundation and Novo Holdings.

The Job
You will be referring to and align priorities with our Senior IT project Lead. However, on a day-to day basis you will be working with the entire team and support the team with various administrative and operational tasks, such as:

  • Maintenance of the online meeting platforms (Teams, Webex, Zoom) including the physical meeting rooms at our headquarter
  • Support adoption of corporate IT systems and applications, such as SharePoint, M365, Copilot,Teams, Webex, Zoom and DocuSign. This might include conducting training sessions or 1-1 training
  • Maintenance of the corporate intranet and document management system, SharePoint
  • Participate in various IT projects and initiatives that includes tasks such as minor analysis, design and execution of surveys, outlining minor business cases, draft presentations and/or end user communication, conducting documentation etc.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement and optimization of the IT services
  • Collaborate closely with external IT partners and vendors, who support different aspects out the IT operations

The working hours will be approximately 20 hours a week with flexibility in relation to your studies.

Professional Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with some of these qualities:

  • A bachelor from an IT University or a Business School and currently studying a master in, e.g., IT and Information in organisations, Communication and IT, Computer science, Digital Innovation and Management, Digital design and Interactive Technologies, or the like, that provides you with a background for understanding the basics of IT and the close connection to business processes and the people using IT
  • Interest in working in the intersection between IT systems and people using the technology
  • Interest in building end user adoption i.e. training colleagues across the organisations in the usage of IT systems 1-1 or in a class room and/or online setting
  • A good understanding of IT domains, concepts, principles and methodologies
  • Preferable experience with or interest in working with SharePoint, Teams, and M365
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and you can work independently and in a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to interact with different levels of stakeholders, vendors and colleagues
  • Proficiency in English and Danish, both written and spoken
