We in the Data Protection Office provide our colleagues globally in NNIT with concise and business-oriented advice and training on data protection matters, as well as monitoring compliance in the organization.

About the job:

You will join the Data Protection Office in NNIT reporting to the DPO. The Data Protection Office consists of the DPO, who leads a cross-functional and global team in NNIT comprised of lawyers, compliance officers, operational, quality and process specialists, architects, and security specialists, providing in-house GDPR counsel on data privacy to the NNIT Group, primarily in our HQ in Denmark, but also to our companies in Europe, Asia and the US.

The primary role of the student assistant will be to assist the DPO in the daily operation of NNIT's Data Privacy compliance program; specific tasks include: Learning about privacy and security matters, assist with the creation and maintenance of compliance documentation, support new IT processing activities by advising the business in the performance of data privacy assessments, become capable in the use of the OneTrust privacy management application, review of policy, process and procedure documents, provide support in the design of training materials, the addition of relevant information to the DPO intranet site and other relevant data privacy tasks.

About you:

• You are currently pursuing a degree in law (jura-studiet) or commercial law HA (jur.) / cand.merc(jur); including relevant topics in risk management, information security, and data protection/privacy compliance, and you will probably be in year 3 of the bachelor's degree or at the beginning of your master's degree.
• You have knowledge of or strong interest in personal data protection/privacy (GDPR), inter-related areas of EU law and IT.
• You have an interest in or a strong understanding of IT and technology.
• You are comfortable with collaborating with colleagues with different backgrounds, including technical and cultural backgrounds.
• You are experienced with Microsoft Office, Teams, and Sharepoint
• You are fluent in English and Danish.
