Student Assistants in the field of Energy Efficient Edge Computing for Robotics 

The Software Engineering Section at the Mærsk Mc-Kinney Møller Institute, University of Southern Denmark, is recruiting student assistants to work on a project to establish edge-cloud compute offloading methodologies for energy-efficient robotics applications.

Responsibilities:

• Establish the edge cluster,
• Research and development of computing offloading AI methods,
• Establish data infrastructures,
• Perform evaluations,
• Write reports.

Competences and Skills:

• Experience in Cloud computing, edge computing, software architectures, and reinforcement learning.
• Good collaboration capabilities.

The employment starts on June 1st, 2024.

Employment takes place in accordance with an agreement between the Ministry of Finance and the National Association of Student Teachers.
