Student Research Assistant with interest in data analysis

Job Description

The Department of Economics is looking for a student research assistant for various research tasks. 

The work will include support with research and administration across a range of different projects, including on gender equality in the music industry, tourism, and creativity of music composers throughout history. 

This is a part-time position with flexible working hours in consideration of your own study and exams. 

Estimated number of working hours per week is 10 hours. 

We are looking for a student, who:

The contributions by our new student research assistant are going to be acknowledged in publications. Moreover, you are offered mentoring and advice as well as exciting and diverse tasks within projects that make a clear research and societal impact. Finally, there is the possibility to co-author outputs (e.g., scientific reports), which would be a strong signal of quality if you decide to pursue PhD studies afterwards. 

Start of employment is 1 August. The position is for 1 year with the possibility of renewal. 

Place of employment is Department of Economics, campus Odense.

Please note, the selected candidate as Student Assistant or Academic Supervisor must be enrolled as student at SDU.

Employment shall take place in accordance with the framework agreement between The Danish Ministry of Taxation and SUL (National Union for Student Teachers in Government Service).
