Student Worker to Data and Analytics

YOUR TEAM
You'll be part of a small team of students supporting our 30 Data & Analytics professionals on a daily basis. BESTSELLER Data and Analytics is a department in growth, both professional and in size. A department driven by a vision of making the Data & Analytics landscape in BESTSELLER value driven and data democratic, and to create tools that automate and augment decisions with data and insights.

YOUR JOB
As our Student Worker you will be presented with a wide range of tasks that in general support our full-time professionals in focusing on their field of expertise. The complexity of the tasks will vary, and the assignment of task will rely on your academic level and operational expertise.
We expect our student workers to grow gradually into new fields of expertise, starting from Power BI report development, moving into design or development activities, and ending up working side by side with our full-time professionals.

We are looking for two student workers to build standard Power BI reports according to requirements given by the business. You do not need to have hands-on experience with Power BI.

YOUR PROFILE
Your academic level is less important than your attitude, as we know that great minds easily gain new competencies. We are therefore looking for a student worker who is outgoing, dedicated, curious, eager to learn from the best, and ready to dig in any task given. You possess the gift of learning by experience and thrive in an environment of dedicated professionals from which you can expand your knowledge, while providing hands on support to everyday tasks. You are attending university, probably finalizing your bachelor or your candidate, in a field leading you towards a profession within Informatics, Data Analytics, Computer Science or other quantitative fields.

Furthermore, you possess some of the qualifications listed below:

• Fluent in Danish and English
• Solid experience with a various range of the Microsoft 360 application suite
• Power BI hands- on experience is preferred
• Knowledge about KPI reporting is a plus
• Hands on experience in SQL, Python and DBT is a plus
• Knowledge about Open Source tooling in general is a plus

THE PRACTICALITIES ABOUT THE POSITION
Your work hours are between 10 – 20 hours a week, with the possibility to work even more during vacations and less during your exams. You will be expected to work on location for one full day per week as a minimum. Your primary work location will be at our office in Aarhus, but field trips to our other locations will be arranged in order for you to meet your stakeholders and get familiar with the business.
