We're foundedby two serial entrepreneurs with previous successes such as Dixaand Ofload, and have received pre-seed funding from some ofEurope’s top VCs and angels. We're now building a top-tier team totackle this big thing called climate, and have fun while we'redoing it .

There’s no biggerproblem out there than the changing climate, and procurementrepresents a big part of the solution - when purchase decisions aremade on the background of responsible data, such as CO2 footprint,suppliers have a huge incentive to change.

However, procurement is becoming overloaded withcomplexity. Different frameworks, different data sources, differentcoverage, making it difficult to make purchase decisions to improveyour responsibility profile and scope 3 emissions.

At Responsibly, we're trying to solve this issue by usingleading technologies and data science, to build a supplier dataplatform that makes it easier to source responsibly.

Tasks

What you’ll bedoing

• Support ourData Operations team with day-to-day tasks and long-term strategicmilestones
• Research social &environmental impact assessment methodologies of various NGOs& other institutions (certifiers, data aggregators,research institutes, etc.) and map them to our internal impactparameter framework
• Interpret various social& environmental impact certificates and assessment scoresaccording to our proprietary scoring methodology
• Collect, understand, and analyse supplier emission dataand targets
• Identify new sources forresponsible sourcing data by assessing various supplierwebsites
• Clean, update and maintain ourever-growing data source repository
• Play anactive role in new product feature discussions and developments,such as our risk and decarbonization modules

Requirements

About you

• You have somepractical experience through an internship/business study activityin analytical environments, where you’ve had to navigate and makesense of complex problems
• You're incrediblydiligent and detail-oriented, love to work systems and bringstructure into chaos
• You have a goodunderstanding of the sustainability space and are familiar withemission reporting and targets and/or have general knowledge aboutinitiatives such as CDP, SBTi, UNGC
• You take ahigh degree of ownership in your work and are ready to attackunfamiliar problems with enthusiasm and a bias foraction!
• You are a big-picture thinker and youcan connect the dots and read in-between the lines by combiningdata and business perspectives to add value for ourclients
• You might have some basic knowledgeand understanding of SQL and databases
• Youmight have some experience with Notion
• Englishis our working language, hence excellent skills are amust

We provide a sustainableprocurement platform that uses advanced technologies and AI (Iknow, lots of buzzwords…) to evaluate how sustainable yoursuppliers are, and use that data to do anything from running andachieving supply chain sustainability objectives, achievecompliance with supply chain sustainability acts, and putsustainability next to price on every supplier scorecard in theworld.

We have a personal vendetta with the oldschool sustainability questionnaire that suppliers are currentlygetting bombarded with, and that’s distracting the entire industryaway from action and impact. Our tech innovates the supplier duediligence process by automatically aggregating every sustainabilitydata point on a company’s set of suppliers across the datalandscape and allows buyers to focus supplier engagement oncollaboration and improvement.

The internship is full-time (40 hrs/week),paid, and ideally for 6 months. The location is Copenhagen, and aEuropean work permit is required. Starting period isSeptember/October 2023
