We are a next-generation materials startup committed to sustainability and eco-conscious practices. We are seeking a dedicated Sustainability Support Student to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in data analysis, environmental science, and sustainable development. This position is perfect for a Master's student looking to gain valuable experience in the field of sustainability while contributing to a growing and innovative company.
LCA Support:
Gather and organize data related to our product's life cycle assessment (LCA).
Assist in creating a comprehensive overview of our suppliers and their sustainability practices.
Contribute to the analysis of LCA data to identify areas for improvement in our production processes.
Sustainable Reporting:
Assist in the preparation of sustainability reports, including data collection, analysis, and presentation.
Work with the team to develop key performance indicators (KPIs) and track progress toward sustainability goals.
Support with Certifications:
Help gain, manage, and maintain sustainability certifications, ensuring compliance and renewals.
Collaborate with the team to implement changes necessary for certification requirements.
Trend Research:
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to sustainability, alternative materials, and eco-friendly practices.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends and developments related to colours and textures used in leather and alternative materials within fashion and furniture. To support in product development.
Data Enthusiast:
Show a strong interest in data and analytics, using data-driven insights to guide decision-making and sustainability efforts.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
Passion for sustainability and a strong interest in environmental issues and sustainable development.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
Structured working style
Proficiency in data analysis and spreadsheet software.
Effective communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Able to see the work ahead.
Familiarity with sustainability certifications and standards is a plus.
General understanding of the fashion and/or textile industry is a plus.
This position is part-time, requiring 10 hours per week (with the potential to increase hours), with the possibility of flexible scheduling to accommodate your academic commitments.
