Technical Sales Engineer

If so, we would love to hear from you! For our AfterSales organization, PrimeServ, we are seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our technical sales support team.

What will I do? 

The role of the Technical Sales Engineer primarily requires you to work independently while enjoying collaboration across departments. Your main focus will include:

• Technical processing of customer inquiries
• Identification of spare parts
• Collaboration with colleagues and internal departments
• Technical advising and correspondence with our customers and international organization

Who am I? 
We envision that you:

• Possess technical and mechanical understanding
• Have experience as a marine engineer or similar, preferably with maritime experience
• Are IT competent
• Have commercial awareness, preferably with experience from a similar role
• Are proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Are adept at cross-disciplinary collaboration
• Are goal-oriented with an understanding of service and customer focus
• Are adaptable, as we are a dynamic sales organization in growth
• Have knowledge of SAP, which is an advantage but not a requirement

What is my new team like? 
You will join our team of seven technicians who, in close cooperation with the rest of our technological business, solve sometimes complex technical issues and support the rest of the 4-stroke spare parts sales department with your current or future technical skills in 4-stroke medium-speed engines. The team handles day-to-day technical support for our sales coordinators, sales managers, and other departments within sales, technical customer inquiries, correction of documentation, and customer claims.
