Account Executive - Search Advertising

Microsoft Global Corporate Sales is a worldwide Sales and Services Organization within Microsoft Search Advertising. GCS is on the cutting edge of the digital advertising industry, helping Microsoft solidify its position as a technology provider that powers the buying and selling of digital advertising across all aspects of our digital portfolio and through strategic alliances.

You will engage directly with both agencies and direct advertisers in Nordics to drive new account acquisition and share of wallet for Bing Ads. As a sales professional, you will also embody and exemplify the Bing brand promise by being Approachable, Insightful, Trustworthy, and Empathetic in all internal and external customer engagements.  
You should expect some business travel cross Nordics for customer engagement, but much of your selling and customer engagement will be done remotely.


  • Grow existing accounts by developing strong relationships at all levels of targeted agencies
  • Acquire new advertisers and agencies through prospecting local leads and evangelizing Bing Ads
  • Partner with Account Managers to on-board and grow accounts working closely with our agency partners
  • Build networking and event calendar to identify new leads while also building trust with key influencers
  • Demonstrate consistent sales excellence in opportunity creation, pipeline management and development, contact and conversion rates, account planning, and advertiser satisfact


  • 5-7 years sales experience in digital media sales.
  • Proven track record of outstanding sales results in technology or media industries
    Proven track record of meeting or exceeding revenue goals or targets
  • Talented in storytelling and delivering engaging presentations across all levels leadership
  • Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and build ongoing relationships and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
  • Experience establishing and nurturing mid to senior-level, long term relationships with digital marketing executives and advertising community thought leaders
  • Ability to travel up to 30%
  • Role can be based either in Stockholm or Copenhagen
