What we are looking for

Blackbird is looking for an Account Executive/Customer Success Specialist who will be a powerful advocate and partner to our customers. We’re looking for an empathetic and collaborative individual who has a methodical approach and an interest in tech and driving successful outcomes with lifetime value for our customers. You are a relationship builder with a genuine passion for the success of their customers. 

As an Account executive/Customer Success specialist, you will be working closely with a wide range of exciting companies in the Danish market and will interact with internal and external stakeholders across different business functions. This position is ideal for a problem-solver who is enthusiastic about the tech world and likes to be an integral part of an expanding organization. As part of our Sales team, you will have full ownership of your client portfolio.

Blackbird is looking for a new AE/CS because of our success in the Danish market. We are in hyper-growth mode to support our expanding customer and product base. You’ll be a part of a team that has a high bar for customer happiness and strives to help our customers transform the way they use data  

 

Requirements

  • 2+ years of Account Executive or Customer Success Management experience (or similar customer-facing roles) ideally at an IIoT or subscription-based SaaS company with a proven history of success.
  • Experience working, collaborating, and influencing key stakeholders.
  • Ability to prioritize short- and long-term tasks based on urgency, importance, and impact.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills: The ability to understand different external/internal stakeholders and identify their perspectives and needs; the ability to build professional relationships with people and manage their expectations
  • Ability to work collaboratively across the team and different departments and communicate your thoughts clearly and professionally both verbally and in a presentation setting.
  • A self-starter with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced and high-growth environment.

 

English skills are required as several different nationalities are in the office, and you’ll be working with international colleagues.

 

Your responsibilities

As an AE/Customer Success Specialist, your tasks will include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage the end-to-end sales process. You will build a strong pipeline and work methodically with a professional approach to ensure strong relationships with prospects.
  • Maintain exceptional data discipline in CRM and other relevant systems.
  • Help build and define the sales strategy and sales organisation.
  • Establish trusted/strategic relationships with clients and continuously help them uncover their business needs to ensure they are realizing the full potential of Blackbird.
  • Introduce clients to customer success initiatives, direct the overall deployment and implementation process, and own post-implementation activities such as business reviews, value realization meetings, knowledge transfer seminars, etc.
  • Help clients successfully launch the Blackbird solution by sharing best practices, and communication materials and monitoring the progress of the Blackbird launch.
  • Analyze clients’ usage data to uncover additional use cases and commercial opportunities.
  • Advocate for and act as the ‘voice of the customer’ when collaborating with other business functions internally (e.g., Product, Technology Partners, Account Executives, Support, Marketing, Sales, etc.).
  • Keep records of key customer information, events, and meetings to create transparency between customer-facing stakeholders in systems such as Sales loft and HubSpot.
