Account Manager - Denmark & Norway

As Account Manager for Meat, Poultry and Seafood at Intralox you will be responsible for managing and developing the existing and new customers in Denmark and Norway. Your primary role will be to sell Intralox’s offerings in the markets with an emphasis on solution selling and long-term relationships with the customers.

With direct report to the Team Leader, MPS EMEA you will be a part of a team of 12 Account Managers. You will be responsible for customers within the industries Meat, Poultry and Seafood. With the resposnibility for all sales activity in Denmark and Norway, you will be a key player for end-users and OEM customers.

Your main tasks are:

  • Responsibility for own sales budget and profitability in Denmark and Norway
  • Managing and further developing existing and new customers
  • Defining the overall market potential, annual business plan and forecast
  • Implementing proactive territory management to best maximize time and resources to grow business
  • Maintaining frequent contact with the target accounts (End-users & OEMS)
  • Developing sales strategy and targets within MPS 

Your are experienced within sales and have knowledge and/or experience within the food industry. You are independent, self-motivated and proactive in daily work activities. With a commercial mindset and a committed and results-driven personality, you are used to tight deadlines. You have great communication skills and the ability to think ahead in relation to forecasts and future sales possibilities. You also possess good negotiating skills, understanding of economics and risks, and a structured mindset in regards to contract negotiation. 

You are likely to be an Engineer within the line of Production, Machine, Marine, Technology Processes or similar, supplemented with thorough commercial experience as well as commercial courses and/or education.

You are a person with great interpersonal skills, both internally across the organization as well as externally. You are used to close collaboration between departments. You are active in making new contacts and are used to structured working methods and you study details to obtain an overview.
