The role is based in Copenhagen, but the scope is global, and few travel days should be expected.

Key Responsibilities

  • General bookkeeping and account reconciliations
  • Payroll accounting and reporting
  • Month-end process including accrual calculation
  • Consolidation of subsidiaries and preparation of consolidated financial statements
  • Internal and external reporting (group, internal stakeholders, etc.)
  • Day-to-day cash management and bank reconciliations
  • Processing and payment of supplier invoices, travel expenses and credit card settlements
  • Master Data maintenance
  • Coordination of annual audits and statutory reporting
  • Ensures compliance with documented internal controls, maintaining documented processes, verifying the appropriateness of identified risks and relevant controls to mitigate said risks
  • Who we are looking for - skills needed

    As for the skillset and experience, we are looking for:

  • 10 years of hands-on experience in accounting in a similar role
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and local accounting and tax regulations
  • The excellent domain of excel and comfortable using BI tools
  • Experience with one of the Big 4 auditing firms is a plus
  • MBA, CIMA or CFA is a plus
  • Detail-oriented, structured and thrives working in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable working in an international environment with ambiguity and constant change
  • Good written and verbal communications skills and fluent in spoken and written English
  • Self-starter and able to work effectively with little supervision
  • Good interpersonal and collaborative team-building skills.
