Ambitious Associate Process Engineer

The Department

The department IM2 QC Laboratory is located at Kalundborg and supports several productions. The QC laboratory performs chemical, microbiological and biochemical analysis as support for DAPI and Biopharm. Furthermore, we are responsible for media production in DAPI.

We are approx. 130 highly dedicated employees, divided into 6 teams, and we are looking for an employee for the team that is responsible for the building and equipment at QC laboratory in IM2. A team with highly competent and experienced members.

The Position - Full Time

The position requires a high degree of independence and a desire to improve the laboratory practice.

Your role as an Associate Process Engineer will include:

* Professional responsibility for equipment within QC laboratory, where qualification,maintenance and operations are main points.

* Support stakeholders by providing equipment expertise and solutions with the purpose of securing stabile production.

* Provide proactive support to the laboratory, ensuring the daily operations and equipment within your responsibility, always perform with highest output in the right quality.

* Contribute to ongoing optimisation and automation of existing processes and equipment. This also entails being curious about how other teams and departments work and bringing new knowledge to the team.

* Challenge existing processes in a respectful and constructive way. If quality and improvements are your passion, this is the job for you.

You are expected to have a proactive approach to solve problems related to equipment used in the daily operations at the QC laboratory. An innovative and collaborative mindset is required regarding project work. Abilities to coordinate and finding simple solutions with respect to quality, cost, environment and delivery, are highly needed.

Qualifications

You are expected to:

* Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in Engineering or similar

* Experience with GMP is an advantage

* Have experience working in projects related to automation and digitalisation

* Experience with computerised equipment and qualification of laboratory equipment

* High interest within new technology

* Be fluent in Danish and English

As a person you have strong and sharp eyes for innovative improvements that you apply, when needed. You are also positive and open with a drive to learn and take on new tasks. You solve your tasks independently in a systematic, simple and effective way. You enjoy a dynamic workday with deadlines and find satisfaction in getting things done together with the rest of the team.

You are a strong communicator, and you find it natural to establish new relationships across teams and departments.
