About the department
Corporate Procurement is responsible for the global indirect spend in Novo Nordisk of app. 35 billion DKK. We define and drive the global procurement strategy. With 110 employees based in Denmark and more than 500 colleagues globally in procurement, we are a strategic partner in the execution of the company’s strategy. Corporate Procurement is reporting directly to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of Novo Nordisk.

The position
As Team Leader, you will manage the Corporate Travel team who are responsible for the operation and digitalisation of travels in Novo Nordisk. A team consisting of 4 highly skilled employees working with the most advanced digital tools.
 

Your main responsibilities will be:

  • Execute the global travel strategy, setup clear must win battles and priorities to ensure successful execution of projects that drives innovation and world class performance
  • Manage a team of 4 employees to ensure smooth operation of travel activities and world class support
  • Drive adoption to and utilisation of digital tools to ensure efficient, effective and user friendly processes
  • Work with stakeholders in our global sourcing organisation to drive compliance to corporate agreements
     
  • This is a perfect opportunity for you who comes with a couple of years of experience in project management or as a management consultant and would like to utilize and develop your leadership skills in a role where responsibility will grow over time.
     

    Qualifications

  • You hold a Master degree in business administration, finance, supply chain or similar and were among the best.
  • You have a minimum of 4 years of relevant project management experience from a consultant agency or a large global company.
  • You have proven process optimisation experience along with cross functional leadership skills, strong people management skills and proven ability to build relationships with both internal and external stakeholders at all organisational levels.
  • You are fully proficient in English
  • As a person, you are ambitious and like to be challenged to make a difference, self-driven and eager to take responsibility to drive projects and team, dynamic, has a winning personality, a team-player and likes to have fun.
