Technical Sales & Market Development
With a direct reference to Head of Sales in your region, your overall responsibility is to drive technical sales and support the Area Sales Managers and Agent & Distributors in your geographical area. Your tasks will include areas such as:

  • Qualify and develop sales opportunities
  • Support in specifying customer needs
  • Guide quoting of optimal solutions/offerings
  • Attend commercial negotiations and technical meetings
  • Guide the Area Sales Managers in the price and bid approval process
  • Influence and achieve budgeted order intake and gross profit targets.

In close cooperation with the Area Sales Managers you identify market opportunities for the biscuit product lines, you participate in client meetings to identify needs and promote the product line and services, and you further explain value propositions and USPs.

With your technical background and insight you provide information and support training of Area Sales Managers and agents in new technologies, new features in the machines/product lines, success cases, sales argumentation and value propositions.

Together with the Area Sales Managers and the Head of Sales you will also be involved in the budgeting process for the product line.

Market and Industry Knowledge
Your professional experience comes from international sales, where you have been successful with technical solution/projects sales. Preferably you have a background from the biscuit/baking industry, ideally with experience from selling equipment or lines for production of cookies, crackers or cakes. Alternatively you have experience from a related process industry.

You have experience from working on the specific markets in Russia or Germany/Eastern Europe, and consequently you are fluent in English and either Russian or German/another East European language. You have a relevant technical/commercial education. In general you have experience from working in an international environment and being part of a larger matrix organisation.

You thrive by being recognized as the technical specialist with the commercial attitude, you enjoy working in a large international matrix organisation and you are excellent at planning and structuring your daily work and working out of your home office.
