Financial Controller - Nakskov

Use your financial controlling experience in a production environment 

Would you like to join an international organisation and be part of the development for financial reports for the manufacturing organisation? Do you thrive in a position where you will be the finance business partner towards the factory staff?  

Tasks & responsibilities: You will… 

…be responsible for the monthly department performance reporting and follow up at the Blades Factory in Nakskov. You will assist in further development of financial reports for the manufacturing organisation in general and support on business case development for the factory.  

You will participate in the monthly closing process ensuring valid reporting, compliance and KPI follow up. As the Financial Controller, you will act as a proactive business partner by following up on investments, production and purchase orders to ensure high data quality and high financial standards.  

You will also be responsible for:  

  • Daily financial handling and support to other departments in the factory 
  • Drive financial control and optimisation throughout processes 
  • Monthly reporting of actual figures vs. budget. 
  • Support improvement initiatives on BI-reporting  
  • Collect data and support in the budget process 
  • Actual cost reporting including variance analysis 
  • Create and follow up on fixed assets 
  • Collection of cost related to poor quality 

 Skills & experience: Our new colleague… 

…has experience with reporting and controlling from an international finance department either in the wind industry or another heavy industry. To succeed in this position, you must have strong analytical skills and excellent communication skills. You are proactive towards stakeholders and are always focused on delivering the highest quality possible. It is important that you have a good business understanding and advanced Excel skills. Microsoft AX skills will be an advantage.   

We expect that you:  

  • Hold a bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, accounting or similar 
  • Have 2-4 years of production controlling experience 
  • Are a team player 
  • Get things done and meet deadlines 
  • Have a pragmatic approach towards problem-solving
